Mayor
I am so grateful and humbled by the amount of support I have received both from our city
residents and also from many of our neighbors in surrounding communities. Throughout my
campaign, it has truly made my day, over and over again, as members of this community have
sought me out to share kind words and messages of support. I could not have done this without
a little financial support from a select few and an incredible team of people, from all walks of life
and diverse backgrounds, that helped me build a platform, create an election plan, and work
together to make it happen. That includes my wife Ronnette, and my family - I wouldn’t be
doing this without their support. Thank you team.
For me, this is an amazing new adventure, and it is exciting. It will take some time and effort to
adjust to my new responsibilities, but I’m excited for the opportunity to learn, grow, and to serve
this community. It’s time to get to work, to continue to build community, and create a stronger
relationship of trust and transparency in Logan and throughout our valley.

best to represent every resident of Logan. Let’s get to work.

Mark Anderson is a respected civic leader and business professional with a deep commitment to the Cache Valley community. With decades of leadership in local government and economic development, he brings a collaborative and forward-thinking approach to every role he takes on.An alumnus of Utah State University with both bachelor's and master's degrees, Mark values education, service, and community. Whether mentoring others, volunteering locally, or spending time with family in Utah’s outdoors, he leads with integrity, experience and an unwavering commitment to improving the lives of those around him.
Serving on Logan City Council for the last six years provided Mark with unique knowledge and understanding about Logan City and staff, and invaluable experience with city governance that gives him a distinct advantage as the future Mayor.
